FAQ — for the sound bath page and event pages

What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing, guided experience where you lie down and let the vibrations of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls wash over you. As the sound surrounds you, your nervous system shifts into a restful state — often described as a "reset" for the body and mind. Many of our sessions pair the bowls with therapeutic-grade essential oils to deepen the experience.

I've never done one. Is it for me?
Absolutely. Sound baths are for everyone — no experience, flexibility, or "spiritual" background needed. You simply lie down, close your eyes, and receive. First-timers are always welcome, and most people report feeling noticeably calmer and more grounded afterward.

What happens during a session?
You'll settle into a comfortable position (lying down on a mat or in a chair) as Kristen guides the session. Using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, and sometimes chimes or gongs, she creates a soundscape designed to guide your brain from active thinking into alpha and theta states — the same states associated with deep relaxation, meditation, and restorative sleep. Sessions often include mindful breathing and gentle reflection.

What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. [confirm: bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow — or are mats provided?]

How long is a session?
Our group sound baths run 60–75 minutes. Private and virtual sessions are tailored to you. [confirm: add 1-1 session length and pricing here]

Where do sessions take place?
Group events are held at The Muse KC (524 Walnut St. #320, Kansas City — River Market). Private sessions and other services are available at our studio in the Livestock Exchange Building (1600 Genessee #667). We also offer virtual and distance sound healing worldwide.

Can I book a private or group session?
Yes — private sound baths, small-group experiences, and corporate sessions are available. Email hello@revolutionarywellness.com or use the contact form and we'll tailor an experience to your group. [confirm: add private event pricing or "starting at $X"]

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Distance/remote sound healing delivers the same healing frequencies through a digital platform, wherever you are. Members of The Well also get 24/7 access to our growing library of on-demand virtual sound healing experiences.

What's the difference between a sound bath and a Sound Bath Immersion?
A sound bath is a focused 60-minute experience. An Immersion is a longer, deeper journey (75 minutes) with more time to settle in and integrate — ideal if you want to go deeper or are already familiar with sound healing.

How do memberships work?
Membership gives you exclusive perks: event discounts, VIP event access, and 24/7 access to our virtual library of holistic health resources and on-demand sound healing. Options include Unlimited Sound Healing ($5/mo), The Well ($25/mo or $250/yr), and Lifetime Immersion (one-time $777 or $399 × 2). See the Memberships page for details.
